THIS YEAR'S CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED! THANKS TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED! RDA MEMBERS WILL RECEIVE BALLOT INVITATIONS BY EMAIL FOR VOTING THIS WEEK. WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN EARLY SEPTEMBER ON THE RDA BLOG (where you can also view the entries). THE 2010 RDA CALENDAR WILL GO ON SALE VIA RDA'S CAFEPRESS STORE IN OCTOBER.

Do you have a great, enticing, creative and well-shot photograph of your baby in a cloth diaper? The Real Diaper Association is putting together our First Annual Cloth Diaper Calendar and we’re holding a contest to select the best 12 photographs to include! The best of those 12 will go on the cover and win a fantastic prize.

HOW DO I ENTER?
Fill out the form below and submit your photograph of your child in a cloth diaper by 11:59 PM Pacific Time on Monday, August 24, 2009. (Only one photo allowed per person.)

Photo Guidelines: Submitted photos (in .jpg format) must be horizontal (landscape) orientation, at least 300 dpi, 2300 x 1800 pixels.  The subject should be less than 7 ½” tall and within 7 ½” wide to best fit the calendar specifications.  No alteration or manipulation of photographs is permitted except for cropping, red eye removal, and adjustment of contrast and brightness. Photographs may be in color, sepia, or black and white.

HOW CAN I WIN?
Submitted photos will be posted on the RDA blog at www.realdiaperevents.org.  You can generate buzz for your photo by commenting there and lobbying for votes.  All RDA members can vote (you must be an active member by August 24, 2009 to be eligible) – one vote per person.

Hint: While we have to be able to see the cloth diaper, this contest is not about how clearly the diaper itself is shown or how beautiful it is on its own -- it's about how great the photograph is and how compelling it is to look at. We want 12 really engaging, gorgeous photographs featuring happy babies in cloth diapers.

WHAT CAN I WIN?
GRAND PRIZE (sponsored by diapershops.com): Your choice of either a Flip video Ultra 2.0" 230K 4GB Internal Memory Digital Camcorder or a $150 gift certificate to Kelly’s Closet. 

TWO RUNNERS UP: (sponsored by Babies in Bloom and Mama Momo): You will receive either a $50 gift certificate to Babies in Bloom or a $50 gift certificate to Mama Momo (the photographer with the highest number of votes chooses first, then the third-place winner gets the other). 

ALL TWELVE WINNERS will receive a copy of the Real Diaper Association 2010 calendar, where they will be fully credited.
